Northern Xscape Rentals is a rental company offering jet ski and snowmobile equipment to help their clients in arranging unforgettable weekend getaways near Haliburton City.The objective for this project was to develop a clear and user-friendly booking app. My goal was to guarantee that the app's users would be well-informed about rental details and safety measures without being overwhelmed with unnecessary information. The app includes all essential features to facilitate a swift booking process and inspire confidence in NXR users' choices. Additionally, I wanted to add an option for users to evaluate their experiences and easily share the app with their friends.
The demand for jet ski rentals has surged since the pandemic; however, the company's website booking system was outdated and incapable of handling the increased requests. The website lacked compatibility with mobile devices, resulting in numerous inconveniences and frustrations for their clients. Additionally, it failed to provide booking confirmations, leading users to flood the call center lines. The absence of these essential features has resulted in customer dissatisfaction and low conversion rates.
To address the mentioned issues, I have designed a mobile application that incorporates all necessary features to ensure a delightful user experience. These features include an intuitive navigation system, a user-friendly control panel, relevant filters, comprehensive product descriptions, high-quality photos, and instant booking confirmations that users can easily share with their friends. Additionally, users will have the option to synchronize their bookings with their phone calendars. With this app, users can effortlessly discover, book, rent, and enjoy their rides. The objective of the app is to enhance conversion rates and facilitate business expansion across Ontario.
