Hi there! I'm Darina, a UX designer with hands-on experience in both development and marketing. Through my work experience, I've cultivated a unique perspective, ensuring that every element not only addresses user issues but is also technically feasible and financially beneficial for the business.
I'm also a staunch advocate for accessibility. When I design, my aim goes beyond simply checking off items on the WCAG checklist. Instead, I focus on addressing people's difficulties and problems. I firmly believe that everyone should be able to interact with technology equally and without barriers.
Beyond the world of design, you'll often find me pursuing my hobbies. I have a fervent love for dancing, where I find both inspiration and creative expression. Painting is another avenue through which I channel my imagination, exploring colors and textures to bring stories to life on canvas. Additionally, I'm an avid traveler, constantly seeking new perspectives and cultural experiences that enrich my design sensibilities.
Let's collaborate and embark on a journey to create something truly exceptional together!
First, I conduct research to learn about target users, their problems, needs, wants, and the environment or context in which they experience the design.
The goal is to determine which problems are the most important to solve. This is when I establish a clear Problem Statement and Value Proposition.
For ideation, I foster a judgment-free environment, generating numerous solutions. Then, I assess ideas based on problem-solving efficacy, financial viability, and development feasibility.
I don't believe in perfection, I strive for improvement instead. An early model of the prototype can be sufficient to begin testing and identify design flaws from the outset. I believe prototypes should be tested at all stages; don't wait for the perfect final version
